If you blinked, you may have missed the first four episodes of "Bent," which NBC promoted with about as much enthusiasm as Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries had on their wedding night. And the net's laziness showed in the premiere's ratings -- it did worse than "The Paul Reiser Show."

Anyone else still mourning last week's season finale of "Happy Endings"? The idea that one of my favorite comedies is no more (until the fall, that is) would normally make me miserable and bitter. The only thing that didn't have me completely spiralling is the replacement -- "Don't Trust The B----- In Apartment 23."

At a glance, "NYC 22" is a copycat of "Rookie Blue." Both police dramas focus on rookies adjusting to their new lives -- but instead of working the streets of Toronto, TV's latest recruits are part of Manhattan's 22nd precinct. As far as I'm concerned, however, that's where the similarities end.

Maybe instead of 'Veep,' this show should have been called 'Bleep.' Either way, Julia Louis-Dreyfus continues to prove that good things come in small, obscenity-filled packages, and her fine performance makes this show a hit.

"The Good Wife" is great because of its cast, the crew, the writing, the direction -- but there's something about its guest stars that make the CBS drama extra-special.
