Ashlee Froese

Fashion and Branding Lawyer, Partner at Fogler Rubinoff

Ashlee Froese is a fashion and branding lawyer. She is a partner at Fogler, Rubinoff LLP and is recognized by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Certified Specialist in Trademarks Law. Ashlee is a regular guest lecturer across North America on fashion law, a published author on fashion and branding law and frequently provides commentary to the media about fashion law matters. Ashlee holds a number of leadership positions within the fashion industry (3 year term as co-chair of FGI, mentor with Toronto Fashion Incubator, a mentor with CAFA and an advisor with the Ryerson Fashion Zone). Ashlee took a lead in challenging the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports to increase government funding for the fashion industry, which FGI endorsed. She also manages a website www.canadafashionlaw.com, which looks at laws, business and politics that affect the Canadian fashion industry.
