& President, International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM)

Cheryl Farrow became President and CEO of Canada’s leading supply chain management association in 2010. During this time she spearheaded the amalgamation of two associations, transformed the SCMA’s governance structure, and implemented a number of strategic initiatives to position the association to better represent supply chain professionals in Canada.

In 2016, SCMA President and CEO Cheryl Farrow (Paradowski) began her term as the first female president of the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM). IFPSM is an alliance of 45 national and regional purchasing and supply chain associations worldwide who jointly represent over 250,000 professionals.

She was previously the Executive Director of the Canadian Grocery HR Council, and from 1996 was active in Sector Council management where she held various positions up to and including President of the Ontario Tourism Education Corporation (OTEC). In September 2007, Cheryl was elected to the Board of the Alliance of Sector Councils, and in September 2008, she was elected chair of the organization.

Cheryl has an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, a bilingual Honours BA from York University, Glendon College, and holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives.
