Colin Blayney

A personal trainer, Medical Exercise Specialist and the Manager of the Active 55+ program at Toronto's Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre.

Colin began his career in the fitness industry 16 years ago, and since then he has seen many changes. Holding three fitness certifications, as well as a B.A. and HR Management diploma, Colin’s passion is in helping people help themselves by making their health a priority. An advocate for lifelong learning, Colin is a certified Golf Conditioning Specialist and has also attained the highly regarded Medical Exercise Specialist (MES) designation. Utilizing this knowledge, Colin has become an advocate for promoting health and fitness within the healthcare industry.

He manages the Active 55 Plus fitness program at the Miles Nadal JCC in downtown Toronto, where his current projects include: T.I.M.E. (Together In Movement and Exercise), a Toronto Rehab program for stroke survivors; and Osteo-Circuit, a physiotherapist supervised program for those with bone health issues.
