Henrik Kjellberg

President, Hotwire

As President, Henrik Kjellberg oversees all aspects of the Hotwire Group's two brands: Hotwire® and CarRentals.com™.

Before joining Hotwire, Henrik was president of Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) worldwide. EAN is Expedia’s business-to-business division, providing large and small-scale affiliates with Expedia’s state of the art booking and marketing solutions. He has been a member of the global leadership team since 2007.

Previously, Kjellberg launched Expedia’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong. As president of Expedia Asia Pacific he was responsible for the Expedia and hotels.com® points of sale in APAC as well as China’s eLong (NASDAQ:LONG), a leading Chinese online travel company.

Kjellberg joined Expedia in 2001, launching Expedia Italy and Holland. He led the establishment of the European hotel team across Europe. In addition, he was responsible for the development of the car and destination services business in EMEA. Kjellberg played an instrumental role in Expedia’s expansion in Europe being a member of the European Leadership Team. He served as senior vice president of international lodging and destination services for Expedia® Partner Services Group in which role he managed the division for EMEA and APAC.

Prior to joining Expedia, Kjellberg launched the e-commerce division for Spray, a leading Swedish Internet portal. Kjellberg started his career with Procter & Gamble Nordic in the sales and marketing division.

Kjellberg holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. Kjellberg has been a member of the eLong board of directors since October 2005 and has been its Chairman since 2007. He speaks five languages fluently. In his spare time he enjoys training for Ironman distance triathlons.
