Sustainability expert, entrepreneur, executive director of CBSR
Leor Rotchild is the Executive Director of Canadian Business for Social Responsibility - a professional association of sustainability leaders from across Canada. Leor has a decade of experience as a Corporate Responsibility leader in energy sector. He has consulted to private sector companies and non-profit organizations on local and international sustainability initiatives and co-founded a B Corp certified business providing environmental services to large special events. Ultimately his goal is to demonstrate how business can be a force for good in the world.
Blinders are often used to keep horses racing in a straight line and free from distraction. However, some horse race experts argue that true competitors want to see what's coming. They say expanding the field of vision expands possibilities. Blinders are fine if you're doing the same thing over and over like going around a track but adapting to a new set of circumstances requires you to see the whole context.
