Maureen is a professional stage and television actor in the Toronto area and has appeared in over a hundred television commercials. Stage credits include Ms. Fischer in A Picasso (Word Toast Transport, North Bay) Sheila in An Inspector Calls (Sudbury Theatre Centre), Lulu in The Lulu Project (Equity Showcase Theatre). She has adjudicated and created acting workshops across Ontario for both the International Thespian and the Sears Drama Festivals. Maureen has been part of the Theatre Arts faculty at Canadore College since 2007, teaching modern and contemporary scene study, Shakespeare, and commercial auditioning. Directorial credits include Rep 21’s Waiting for the Parade, Laundry and Bourban, GTG’s Hope Op, and co-direction of Rod Carley’s Slam. Maureen is a North Bay native and a graduate of the York University Theatre Performance Program.

Flesh-Eating Disease Didn't Take Away My Will To Live

I always thought that if I were faced with impossibly adverse circumstances that I would be a fighter right up until the bloody death. I would go out raging against the enemy until I was victorious or until I couldn't possibly fight another second. Last year I found out that who I thought I would be was exactly the person I was. I fought the enemy and I was victorious.
