Rachelle Casseus

Actor, Writer, Producer

Rachelle was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. She is of mixed heritage; her father is Haitian and her mother is French Canadian and Scottish.

After she received her BFA in Theatre Performance from Concordia University, she went on to work as a company member for New Ottawa Repertory Theatre for four years. She has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including Derek Diorio's first feature film, The Kiss of Debt.

Also a writer and producer, Rachelle co-wrote and produced a sketch comedy series featured on Rogers television called Tripping in Orbit. She has just completed a screenplay and is working on an original television series.

She was selected by Peter Hinton to join the National Arts Centre's English Theatre company for two seasons from 2011-2013. She currently stars as Farida Farhisal in TVO’s Hard Rock Medical.
