Family/ER doctor, humanitarian field worker, associate clinical professor at the University of Alberta
I am a Canadian family/ER physician with a diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene. I have worked in several countries with MSF and enjoy the challenge of providing health care to marginalized populations. In 2015, I became a board member for Canadian Doctors of Medicare and an assistant clinical professor at the University of Alberta. I currently live and work in the Northwest Territories.
The TPP appears to pose risks to our ability to afford to provide needed medications Canadians, and others around the world. When the free and open debate on this agreement is held, the impact on health care must be taken into account.
