Shannon Kelly is the Manager of Public Relations and Special Events at Canada's Wonderland. She leads the media, social media, and events efforts for the largest amusement park in Canada, with a Facebook following of almost 800,000. Shannon also teaches an Introduction to Social Media course part-time at Humber College, and is on the Board of Directors for Dancers for Cancer, managing Media and Marketing. Shannon is the former Social Media Manager at the Toronto Real Estate Board, and also spent 2 years with the Ontario Public Service in the Ministry of Health Promotion and Sport as a ghost-writer. She has worked with brands such as the Toronto Argonauts, Toronto Rock, CBC Sports, and has also sat on the Communications Committee for BOOST Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention for the past 6 years. She is a graduate of York University with an Honours BA in English, and has a Post-Graduate Certificate from Centennial College in Corporate Communications and Public Relations, and a certificate in Digital Media and Communications Management from the University of Toronto. In her spare time, Shannon authors Wears Pearls to the Ballpark, a blog for women who know a thing or two about sports.
