Tim Edwards joined the political stream of Canada's Foreign Service in 2003. Since then he has worked on human rights, North Korea, Iran's nuclear program, WMD threat reduction, and was posted as Head of
Public Affairs at the Canadian consulate general in Hong Kong from 2006 to 2008. He was elected President of the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers in October 2011. He studied at McGill and York Universities.

The Canadian Diplomats Strike is About Fairness, Mr. Harper

Dear Prime Minister Harper: We do not want to be on strike. Challenging our own government goes against our very nature as diplomats and disrupts our ability to get things done for Canadians. This is not about diplomats getting a raise. This is about equal pay for equal work.
