Black Pig Bistro

You could say that the Black Pig Bistro is one of the most anticipated new Calgary restaurants in 2014, especially when you consider their pledge to deliver top-quality food with tastes influenced by Spanish, French and Italian cuisines all for a moderate price. Making it happen is Alison Beiber, a former Cucina chef who will be looking to make the 50-seater Black Pig Bistro one of the hottest eateries in Bridgeland and in Calgary as a whole.
Bocce Pizzeria & Bar

Keep your eyes open for Bocce, a new pizzeria and bar on 4th Street in Mission by the head honchos of Mercato. Double Zero Chinook

This wonderful restaurant is expanding to Chinook Centre, one of Calgary's busiest and most highly regarded shopping malls with a "primo" double-floor location on the north end. Get all your original favourites from Double Zero Chinook either in the market-style main floor or perhaps sitting in a comfortable booth upstairs where the traditional restaurant and patio are located. The bottom level of West Restaurant & Bar is now being transformed into Goro & Gun, a Japanese barbecue, ramen noodle and sushi bar with food that will make your mouth water.
