Even though you all think it was a sexist question, you all believe she is sexy?

One must realize politics, as with everything else today, is titillating entertainment and absorbed with commercialism, sex, violence and all other sources of impropriety.

It is nothing more than a distraction, especially since she is "not all that".

I wonder if there was any answer she could give that wouldn't have given someone a reason to complain.
11:41 AM on 12/31/2012
Get over it people. She was asked a stupid question and answered it with humour. If she hadn't answered it, she'd be slagged for ducking the question.

She invites such questions with her flirtatious body language. Funny - men often don't 'see' it, but they respond to it. Women see it and are repulsed.

Great answer to a stupid question, however, I am thinking there are now many "cougars" who will have their noses out of joint!!! This is a complete NON issue!

regardless of whether she handled a graceless question with grace. It is true that no one would consider talking about Harper's clothes, hair, weight, or sexual prowess - men are not reduced to the level of their sexual appear by men or by women.

To be fair, Harper has terrible hair. This may be the cause of his terrible policies.

Now I cannot stand Christy Clark (I refer to her as Premier Snookie) - HOWEVER, her response to that question was spot on - NO MAN in politics would ever be asked such a question, clearly we still have a long way to go before women have actual equality in professional life.

Whaaa Whaaa Whaaaa, like a male politician has never been asked a stupid inappropriate personal question. You refer to her as Premier Snookie (I assume to dismiss her as an airhead) while at the same time being offended by the fact that someone would ask her a dumb question.

"Premier Snookie".....I love it! How appropriate.

Amazing what gets censored here. I'll try the same thing twice. WHat's wrong with either?
10:21 AM on 12/31/2012
The premier's "right back at ya" response suited the question. Move on.

It was a terribly sexist and rude question to ask the premier.
I think she was just caught off-gaurd and responded in a fashion she probably thought at the moment 'gracious and well humoured'
Now she probably wishes she'd have told the guy to go pound sand and walked out.
Thats the great thing about public life in the modern internet age.
The things you wish you could do over are out there forever.
Endlessly repeating.

Wha Wha Wha, That is the job of many people on radio. Ask shocking questions to stir controversy and get people to tune in. Your probably one of the same people who treated the royal prank call as a crime against humanity. So no man is ever judged on his appearance in politics. Like nobody ever mocks Rob Ford or Chris Christie for being fat??? Also the article mentions how many women are judged on how they dress and their hair ect. Let me take a little guess on who does most of that judging. Ohhh yea that would be other women.

Once more, the profits of some company trump (insert societal value here). Do you ever get sick of having your strings pulled by Dear Leader?
10:04 AM on 12/31/2012
Love the answer and find it very appropriate.

If you have and issue with a witty response to a stupid question you need to get a grip.

Clark's not the savviest politician, but there's no denying it's rare to have an attractive female politician for a reason... They have to deal with nonsense like this.
