Sounds like a complete control freak!

To say nothing of how those kids were going to find the energy to plant trees on a veggie diet!

She said they not she! Sounds like a mutual decision. They certainly worked hard at what they were doing! That's a plus.

i find it worrying that canadians think $1mil is 'wealthy'.

we are about to be flattened economically but on the happy side it appears some of us wont have a clue

agreed, In Vancouver, it just means you are a homeowner.

I thought 1 million was rich thirty years ago at a young age, but seeing things through a wiser perspective, it's not really all that much.

Why are people obsessed with the "millionaire" label? Having $1M in assets these days is nice but hardly uncommon. Own a nice detached house in a nice neighbourhood in a major Canadian city? $500K + right there. RRSPs? Another huge chunk of change. Mortgage free? What about small cottage or piece of land in the country? Car? Boat? RV? Life insurance? Trying to help your kids get set up with house? All adds up.

$1M in assets usually involves liquidating everything. In Justin's case, he was fortunate that his father and grandfather had arranged to leave him and his siblings an inheritance (which you can easily burn through in a couple of years if you aren't careful).

If you win $1M in the lottery are you set for life? Probably not. Life got easier, but unless you're very near retirement, you still need to work.

His $1 million is really only the liquid part of the estate, the real estate and Car(its worth approx $1million) are extra.

I would definitely be set for life, because I am already a senior and it certainly would solve a lot of problems for me!

Romney's money and the way it was acquired was an issue in the US. Trying the same American tactic on the liberals is really kind of lame. It makes the conservatives look sad and desperate.

The tactics you stipulate are the mud slinging liberals, not any other party.

11:43 AM on 02/25/2013
Justin is worth far more than 1.2 million. Do your homework please.

See Justin and the whole Liberal party are elitists! Just like the Cons in that sense. The only party that can properly represent the country is the NDP. You will never meet are more humble, intelligent and caring bunch of people!

there is nothing wrong with being a millionaire. Especially if it wasn't acquired in the same manner as Romeny's treasure trove. What matters to me is holistic vision and the integrity to lead

Most of them say all kinds of grand things and ideas, get elected(McGuinty) and
real mini-me comes out, too late.

If you want to see an organization that's obsessed with Justin's "wealth" just read the Sun newspapers.
