Dan Jacob is a passionate and experienced marketer, event producer and entrepreneur who has worked on planning numerous events and sponsorship activations with such major partners including the National Hockey League, the Canadian Football League and Toronto’s Luminato Festival of Arts & Creativity. He is the Co-Founder and Chief IDIA Guy at IDIA Events, an event management and production company responsible for organizing some of the most well-known conferences and events in the city.

Jacob is also the Co-Chair and Lead Organizer of Canada’s fastest growing ideas conference, TEDxToronto. Since 2009 the conference has grown to a live audience of over 700 people with an online viewership of over 25,000 people and last year during the event, ranked as the #1 trending topic on Twitter in Canada. TEDxToronto has been featured in such media publications as the Globe & Mail, the National Post, Metro News, BlogTO and the Torontoist. This year's event is taking place on Friday September 23 at the TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning.
