After overcoming a difficult, poverty stricken, childhood in the inner city, D’Artagnan Scorza came back with the mission of helping his community. He created the Black Male Youth Academy. The group works inside schools in the LA area-and soon nationally-to help educate, mentor and bring opportunities to struggling and underserved youth. The goal is to help young men get to college, with the curriculum focused through the lens of helping your community. D’Artagnan wants education to uplift not just those receiving it but also the surrounding people. He is also currently on the Inglewood school board.

Positive change comes through persistence, strength and resilience and Brawny paper towels is proud to highlight D’Artagnan Scorza’s story.
