George is a faculty member at Simon Fraser University in the Department of Chemistry and also serves as Associate Dean of Graduate Studies, where he helps oversee the training experiences for over 4,500 students in the graduate program.

Through his work creating integrated, technology-based curriculums for impossible2Possible and students in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, George is helping create opportunities for students worldwide to explore stark global realities in real time.

Beyond his passion for alpine skiing, windsurfing, and cycling up Burnaby Mountain to SFU every day, George can also be found coaching one or more of the hockey and lacrosse teams that his boys play on.
