George Takach is a senior partner at McCarthy-Tétrault in the Toronto law firm’s technology practice. He is the author of four books. He received his BA and JD from the University of Toronto, an MA from Carleton University’s Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, and also studied at the Institut d’études Politiques at the Université d’Aix-Marseilles in France. He lives in Toronto with his wife, Barb Anderson.

With the recent news that several Conservative MPs are demanding that the doctors performing abortions and the women having them be charged criminally, it is time to speak out clearly.

This is wrong.

This is not an isolated issue. Nor is it only relevant to late-term abortion....
