This week, I'm celebrating Women's Equality Day -- which happened on Wednesday, August 26th -- and continuing the conversation when we not only talk about the issue of women's equality but how we can reach equality for all. This is also a time when we highlight some amazing women who shine a light on this issue and believe that we can get there. Here are five amazing women that inspire me and I hope that they inspire you too.
"I want every little girl who's told she's bossy to be told instead that she has leadership skills" - Sheryl Sandberg
"The problem with gender is that it prescribes how we should be, rather than recognizing how we are." - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
"This is what my soul is telling me: Be peaceful and love everyone." - Malala Yousafzai
"It is time that we see gender as a spectrum instead of two sets of opposing ideals." - Emma Watson
"If you don't see a clear path for what you want, make it yourself." - Mindy Kaling
