One lucky winner in Edmonton is moments away from becoming a millionaire, if they claim their ticket.

A $1 million winning Lotto Max Maxmillions ticket hasn't been claimed say officials at the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WGLC). The winning ticket expires on June 29.

Tickets expire one year after their draw date and a prize cannot be claimed after.

Lotto players in Edmonton should check their wallets, pockets and glove compartments, WGLC said in a press release.

"They could be a millionaire without even knowing it!" WGLC added.
