New Capital Of Canada Deathmatch: On To Round Two [VOTE]

Earlier this month, we started the hypothetical hunt for Canada's new capital city. We got dozens of suggestions from our readers; tongue-in-cheek suggestions for small towns and impassioned arguments for the country's other great cities.

We kicked off our deathmatch with the eight most popular suggestions but sadly, only the strongest can survive the HuffPost Deathmatch.

In the first round, Ottawa handily defeated charming Charlottetown. Old Montreal couldn't stand up to the west coast beauty of Vancouver. Toronto muscled its way past Winnipeg and historic Halifax hustled its way past Calgary.
