Michelle Trachtenberg Goes Goth: 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' Star Gives Us Chills (PHOTOS)

LOOK: 'Buffy' Star Goes Goth

It seems that Michelle Trachtenberg can't shake Dawn Summers out of her system.

The former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star rocked a goth look at the launch of designer Rachel Pally's latest collection on Tuesday, wearing a black floorlength gown with a low neckline and a cut-out below the chest which revealed her pale skin.

The former "Gossip Girl" actress channeled our favourite Mean Girl Georgina Sparks by giving the cameras a smouldering take-no-prisoners look which was scary enough to make us quiver a bit in our seats. (We would love to see a Georgina-Blair Waldorf stare-off.)

But the 27-year-old wasn't the only celebrity to go gothic glam; burlesque performer Dita Von Teese held court at the party wearing her own long black gown and lots of gold bangles. Marilyn Manson's ex wore her raven hair in iconic Marilyn Monroe waves and sported a bold red lip to contrast her alabaster skin.

So in the battle of the black dresses, who wins? While we love Michelle's simple yet elegant outfit (and her nude lip and dark eyes are stunning) we're going to have to risk the actress pulling a Georgina on us by choosing Dita's gown thanks to the inventive way she pulled it together; the belt, gobs of jewelry and book clutch really make the whole look.

For those of you itching for a Trachtenberg fix (remember, she could have been on "Twilight"), the young starlet will be on the small screen in November where she will be playing Lee Harvey Oswald's wife Marina Oswald in the National Geographic Channel's TV movie about the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
