Amber Alert

An Amber Alert has been activated for two children allegedly kidnapped in Boulevard, Calif., and the suspect in the abduction may be headed to British Columbia.

The National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children activated the alert Tuesday for eight-year-old Ethan Anderson and 16-year-old Hannah Anderson. Suspect James Lee DiMaggio, is now believed to be taking the children to either Texas or Canada.

The suspect may also be headed to B.C., News1130 reported.

Ethan is described as a white male, 4'11" tall, with sandy blonde hair and weighing 65 pounds. Hannah is described as a white female, 5'7", with blue eyes and weighing 115 pounds.

DiMaggio, 40, is described as a white male with brown hair, brown eyes, 5'9" tall and 150 pounds. He is believed to be driving a blue Nissan Versa with the license plate number 6WCU986.

DiMaggio is suspected of killing the children's mother, 44-year-old Christina Anderson, whose body was found in a burned house near the U.S.-Mexico border on Sunday night.

A child's body was found in the house's garage, but the identity has not been determined. DiMaggio lived in the home alone, a sheriff's statement said.
