Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Karma, the skimboarding bulldog zipping along a Parksville, B.C. beach.
A YouTube video shows a man throwing down a skimboard on the popular Vancouver Island beach, and the thrill-seeking dog jumping on and surfing away.
Karma's owner, Janene Ritchie, got the idea from seeing YouTube videos of other bulldogs enjoying the beach sport.
One of those, Tillman, is quite the Internet superstar with his prowess on skim, surf and skateboards.
Karma, her owner says, is a natural.
"We didn't really have to teach her how to do it, we just threw it and she jumped on it," Ritchie told the Nanaimo Daily News, noting that while Karma was good in the shallows, she still has a bit of practice to put in before she can lay claim to skateboarding, too.
