On Monday, Canadians across the country will take time to remember those who served our country here and abroad.

But among the the thousands of names and the graves in faraway countries are countless stories of men and women who served Canada, stories that sometimes get lost in the shuffle.

For many people, Canada's veterans aren't an abstraction -- they're individuals with their own unique story.
