Tatiana Maslany Golden Globe Nomination: 'Orphan Black' TV Star Up For Best Actress

Tatiana Maslany Finally Gets Her Due

Finally.

After being snubbed by nearly every other TV award group, Tatiana Maslany has been nominated for a Golden Globe. She's nominated for her numerous roles on "Orphan Black," the sci-fi clone show shot in Toronto.

Earlier this year, Maslany won big at the Television Critics Association Awards, beating out juggernauts like Bryan Cranston of "Breaking Bad", Vera Farmiga ("Bates Motel"), Monica Potter ("Parenthood"), and Matthew Rhys ("The Americans"). Maslany cemented her place among TV's best and brightest by winning the Individual Achievement in Drama category, but was then snubbed by the Emmys entirely.

Maslany is highly appreciative of her TCA win, and credits her fans for her current hot status.

The 71st annual Golden Globe Awards will be held on Jan. 12, 2014.
