Nine Inch Nails, Outkast and Soundgarden will headline the Pemberton Music Festival, July 18 to 20 in the small farming town north of Whistler.
Other notable acts include Deadmau5, Metric, Snoop Dogg, Violent Femmes and Frank Ocean. The festival will also feature comedy from Bob Saget, the Trailer Park Boys, Norm Macdonald and Brian Posehn.
Tickets for this year's three-day event will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. PT.
The last festival in 2008 showcased Coldplay, Tom Petty, and Jay-Z in Pemberton Valley, which attracted about 40,000 people. But logistical and financial issues prevented promoter Live Nation from staging the festival again.
Alabama-based company HUKA Entertainment is producing this year's festival.
Ironically, Live Nation is now behind the Squamish Valley Music Festival, which will see artists such as Eminem, Arcade Fire and Bruno Mars play from August 8 to 10.
