The Toronto Raptors' one-point loss may have been heartbreaking, but few fans took it personally.

The Raps were eliminated from the playoffs Sunday after losing 103-104 to the Brooklyn Nets, in a stadium that desperately wanted to see the underdog team make it to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in 19 years.

But save for the brief appearance of the #WeTheSouth hashtag on Twitter, #WeTheNorth predominated, and Raptors fans overwhelmed social media with their positivity and support for the team.
