There's something rather poignant about this video — a pig clambering to the top of a moving truck, hesitating only for a moment, before leaping head-first to freedom.
And something even more touching about that pig wading into the grasses alongside the highway.
But it's a long road to freedom, brave pig. And a much shorter one to the slaughterhouse.
We suspect this pig didn't find its green mile.
But then again, this clip is little more than that — a short video posted to YouTube on June 12 with scant context.

The Daily Mail reports the animal was bound for a South American slaughterhouse.
But maybe anonymity is most fitting. Maybe this is Everypig.
