Lady Gaga is set to tie the knot with actor Taylor Kinney, she confirmed on her Instagram Monday.
Kinney, who stars on the show "Chicago Fire," popped the question and later celebrated with the singer at Joanne Trattoria, which is owned by Gaga's family, on Valentine's Day, Us Weekly reported.
The celebration was witnessed by Barry Lewis, executive editor at the Times Herald-Record, a newspaper that covers suburban New York.
Lewis was enjoying a plate of spaghetti and meatballs at the restaurant on Manhattan's Upper West Side when Gaga came in at around 6:45 p.m., and later showed off her ring saying, "It was time," he recounted in the newspaper.
Gaga's father Joe Germanotta popped some Champagne to celebrate the happy news.
The "Bad Romance" chanteuse and Kinney met on the set of her video "You and I" in 2011 and began dating months afterward.
They have been together ever since, save for a brief split in 2012, Us Weekly said.
Wedding rumours started swirling when Kinney was seen with a ring on his left hand in a photo posted to actress Sophia Bush's Instagram account last year.
