Blue Jays' Kevin Pillar Might Have Just Made The Catch Of The Year

Honestly, how do you top this?

It's early in the baseball season.

But we're reasonably sure that Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar made the catch of the year against the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday night.

The catch came off a hit by Rays second baseman Tim Beckham, who pummeled the ball into left field for what could have been a home run.

But Pillar's heroics saved the day ... and won the Internet. He climbed the wall at the Rogers Centre and caught the ball, just when it could have escaped his grasp.

It was the highlight of a commanding 12-7 victory, which also saw home runs by Devon Travis, Dalton Pompey and Jose Bautista.

We used to know Pillar for having sneezed his way to an injury. Now he'll be remembered for something much better.
