Usually we associate lip syncing to our favourite songs, but one California mom decided to mimic her daughter's tantrum. And she nails it!

Usually we associate lip syncing to our favourite songs, but one California mom decided to mimic her daughter's tantrum. And she nails it!

In the video above, Jennifer Closson Aprea, taped herself copying her four-year-old daughter who was having a meltdown over an invisible scratch. Both of them were exhausted, so Aprea wanted to find a way to make her daughter laugh.

"I would never do this if I thought it would make her feel badly," she told The Huffington Post. "Sometimes you just need to laugh with your kids to get them through the tough tantrums."

Apparently, it worked! Aprea told BuzzFeed that her daughter forgot all about her bad mood and she burst into giggles.

Since being posted to YouTube, the video has been viewed more than 55,000 times. "I'm laughing so hard that this video, of me making horrible faces in my pajamas, is now circulating the internet!!," Aprea wrote on her Facebook page. And we can see why, her unconventional parenting tactic is pretty awesome.
