Mom Who Sacrificed Life For Baby Lives On In Touching Videos

New York mom Liz Joice refused cancer treatment so that she could give birth to her beautiful baby girl Lily, who is now a year old. Sadly, Liz passed away six weeks after her daughter was born.

While Liz won’t be able to see her little girl grow up, her memory will forever live on in film. Liz and her husband Max filmed their journey into parenthood as part of a documentary called “40 Weeks,” which follows 12 women during their pregnancy.

Director Christopher Henze then worked with the couple to create animated videos and heartwarming messages for Lily in memory of her mother. “I took 70 hours of footage of Liz and her husband, Max, and we created a piece for Lily so she could continue to see her mother and hear her mother’s voice,” Henze told ABC News. “It’s a correlation of Liz and Max together. [Lily] loves it, by the way.”
