You, like us, may have thought George Clooney was the mastermind behind wife Amal Clooney's glorious outfit choices, but that was all a lie.
As it turns out, the human rights lawyer actually has a stylist and it's not her famous husband. In fact, the genius behind some of her most standout looks -- that gorgeous tiered number from the Met Gala, her cascading gold gown at the Tokyo premiere of "Tommorowland" -- is a man named Alexis Roche.
Aside from being the British stunner's occasional stylist, Roche also happens to be John Galliano's longtime partner, which explains the loyalty to Galliano's designs. He's also well-known within the industry and counts Uma Thurman, Marion Cotillard and even Kendall Jenner (whom he dressed in a gorgeous Alaia crop top and skirt combo at Cannes).
The fact that Roche has been styling Amal is no secret -- he's posted the looks he's dressed her in on his online portfolio, and he's shared photos on his Instagram page. But perhaps we just didn't want to discover this new info because the thought of George Clooney acting as a stylist was pretty awesome.
But then again, Amal doesn't even need a stylist (husband, friend, or other) because we all know she just wakes up looking totally #flawless.
