Christy Clark Gives Zero F**ks About Yoga Haters

"Hey Yoga Haters- bet you can't wait for international Tai Chi day."

Based on a photo she tweeted Thursday, B.C. Premier Christy Clark couldn't care less what critics think of her government's plan to close a Vancouver bridge for free yoga.

The downtown Burrard Bridge will shut down for several hours on the morning of June 21 to celebrate the International Day of Yoga. The province is spending $150,000 on planning and security, while an energy company is donating $10,000 to the event.

Critics ranging from Canadian singer Raffi to a First Nations artist have slammed Clark for the public cost, the corporate sponsorship, and the fact that the yoga event coincides with National Aboriginal Day.

On Thursday, the premier made it plain how she feels about the backlash:

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what's known as The Peacock Pose in yoga.

UPDATE: Clark later addressed the tweet in a news conference saying, "That was a bit of humour. A bit of self-deprecating humour. Did you get it?"
