Looks like Taylor Swift is rebelling against her cookie cutter image!
On Wednesday, the 25-year-old pop star stepped out to lunch with Selena Gomez wearing a typical Swifty-ensemble (graphic "Fight Song" tank and a pair of shorts), except for one key piece: a leather harness from Free People.
And while the BDSM-inspired accessory isn't entirely surprising (Swift did, after all, borrow $13k worth of sex shop clothing for her "Bad Blood" music video), it caused quite a stir over the Internet, with many people baffled by her bold sartorial choice.
Other fans were quick to point out the songstress was wearing the harness backwards (though judging by the Free People website, it seems as though Taylor was wearing it the correct way).
In typical Taylor fashion, the Glamour UK cover girl took to Tumblr to respond to her fans, writing: "I think you’re ignoring a really important point here… That my harness and I are always ready for a zip line/rock climbing. Ask yourself.. Are you ready for extreme adventure should it present itself?"
She signed off the post with, "HARNESS LIFE 2015."
