It's no secret that for many people, the dream of the ultimate Canadian couple died when Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling broke up. Yes, it was eight years ago. And yes, he has a child with another woman now. But that doesn't mean that the couple who made us fall in love with them in "The Notebook" aren't still the most perfect Canadian combination we could imagine. Until now.
According to a slew of rumours, McAdams is now seeing her "True Detective" co-star Taylor Kitsch, previously best known for his role as Tim Riggins in "Friday Night Lights." And the kicker? Kitsch is Canadian too, from Kelowna, B.C., and quickly on his way to being just as beloved as Gosling.
As US Weekly reports, the pair have been friends for years and have now become even closer while working together. As sources told the publication, “I don’t know if it’s full-blown love yet, but they talk constantly. They’re really into each other. She talks about him all the time!”
We've already acknowledged that McAdams, who has seemingly managed to stay down-to-earth while starring in giant Hollywood blockbusters, is Canada's sweetheart, so we're not ashamed to say we're very interested in her love life. So here's hoping the rumours are true for these Canadian lovebirds!
