Different cultures around the world have their own superstitions, and what might sound strange to one person could be completely normal in another country — which is important to remember before you head out on vacation.
Although most people wouldn't expect foreigners to necessarily know, for example, that you should put sugar in your cup before pouring coffee in Brazil to encourage prosperity, it never hurts to respect others' cultures.
