Women Help Doctors Determine What Makes For An Attractive Penis

Doctors Determine What Makes A Penis Hot Or Not

When it comes to the penis, some people may ponder the perfect size, but not these researchers.

According to a new Swiss study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, doctors surveyed 105 women across different age groups to discover what characteristics women find most attractive when it comes to male genitalia.

The survey, which asked women to rank the importance of penis length, girth, position and shape of the meatus, shape of glans, appearance of scrotum, presence of penile skin, appearance of public hair and general cosmetics, was conducted to help doctors understand if surgically corrected Hypospadias penises were considered less attractive or abnormal looking in the eyes of the opposite sex.

Hypospadias is a penile condition that affects four in 1000 men around the world, according to the US National Library of Medicine. It occurs when the urethra opening is located in a position other than the tip of the meatus.

So what do women say is the most important characteristic of a penis? No, it's not length (that actually ranked in the third to last position). According to the survey, the general appearance takes precedence, followed by the appearance of pubic hair, penile skin and girth. So there you have it guys — science says size doesn't matter but manscaping does.
