Canada, you wonderful country of the north, where have you been hiding all these incredible beaches?

As we hit the middle of summer, those of us who haven't made summer plans yet can gaze upon the beaches that hug the shores of the Great White North, and immediately form a plan for a road trip.

Even when you live near the ocean, it can be tough to get away for more than an afternoon, so spend a few minutes checking out some of the most beautiful — and relaxing — beaches in Canada.

Of course, some of these aren't exactly for suntanning (we're looking at you, Nunavut), but that doesn't mean they aren't any less splendid upon. We don't discriminate when it comes to spectacular nature.
