Canadian B-Boy Illz Shows Us 5 Easy Breakdance Moves

Just wait 'till you see his 5th move.

Can you dance like a professional b-boy?

Well, if you think it's easy...it's not! We put one of our HuffPost staff members to the test to attempt five "easy-ish" breakdance moves.

And the teacher? Toronto breakdancer, Anthony "Illz" Put, a member of Ground Illusionz based in the GTA and Lionz of Zion based in Washington, D.C.

The 23-year-old is getting ready to compete at Red Bull's BC One North American Finals at the end of August in Orlando, Florida. He's one of 16 competitors from the U.S. and Canada battling it out for a ticket to the Red Bull BC One World Finals in Rome. For over 10 years, the Red Bull Finals have been considered one of the most prestigious competitions for one-on-one battles between b-boys and breakers as oppose to crews. Past winners include Kim Honk-Yeol "Hong 10" and Dutch maestro Menno.

Put, a Toronto native, has won several tournaments and is known for his stylish, original, and graceful b-boy moves. Illz tells HuffPost Canada that he started breakdancing at 12 years old. He never thought he'd make it into the prestigious RedBull competition, but he's super stoked to be representing the 6ix.

Good luck, Illz! Canada is cheering you on!
