Natalie Portman TIFF 2015: Actress Makes Directorial Debut Wearing Lace

One word: Gorgeous

Film goers got a little Toronto International Film Festival 'pre-show' Wednesday night when actress Natalie Portman hosted the 4th annual festival kickoff fundraiser.

But Thursday night saw the talented 34-year-old hit the red carpet for one of the biggest nights of her career on the official opening night of TIFF 2015.

The Academy Award-winning actress made her debut as writer and director in "A Tale of Love and Darkness," an adaptation of the award-winning memoir by celebrated Israeli author Amos Oz. Portman also stars in the film as Amos' mother, Fania.

The star arrived on the red carpet wearing an one-shoulder lace Lanvin gown. The blush-coloured Grecian-style dress was gathered at the waistline and shoulder and accented with sparkling star-shaped brooches. The actress wore her hair back elegantly in a slicked, low ponytail, which showed off her diamond earrings. In hand, the A-list star carried a trendy box clutch. We also love her bright pink lip colour. Who says summer has come and gone?

Will we be seeing Ms. Portman nominated for an Oscar in the directorial category this year? Only time will tell!
