'The Mindy Project' Returns Tuesday And We Can't Wait

Kaling's new book, "Why Not Me" also launches today!

Mindians, the day you have been waiting for is here.

Not only does "The Mindy Project" return on Hulu on Tuesday (at noon for viewers in Canada starting Sept. 16, on Citytv.com, score!), but our spirit animal Mindy Kaling also drops her second book, "Why Not Me?," on the same day.

Kaling, who returns on the comedy series as an eight-month pregnant Dr. Mindy Lahiri, starts season four in an alternate universe where she is married to actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The show, which already has seven episodes locked down for the 4th season (which will be rolled out on a weekly basis starting Wednesday on City), was picked up by Hulu after being cancelled on Fox earlier this summer.

The 36-year-old has also been busy promoting her new book while on a book tour. With no Canadian dates set (Mindy, come to Canada!), the actress and comedian recently told the Today Show, the memoir is filled with juicy stories about her dating life with BJ Novak, her views on weddings and working ridiculous hours in Hollywood.

The full season premieres in Canada starting Nov. 5 on City.
