Baby George R.R. Martin Was At The First Emmys, And There's Photographic Proof

We know you're dying to see this picture.

We know you're dying to see a picture of baby George R.R. Martin, creator of the book series "A Song Of Ice and Fire" that "Game of Thrones" is based off of — who wouldn't be?

The picture flashed up on the screen at the Emmys Sunday night as host Andy Samberg was wishing Martin a happy birthday and said that the GoT creator had been in attendance at the very first Emmys. Of course baby George would have a baby beard! (A word of advice, wee Martin: Avoid the Red Playdate. That will never end well.)

"Happy birthday, George," Samberg said, "and thanks for telling me during the commercial that Jon Snow is alive."

And there you have it.
