The 8 Strangest Characters Steve Buscemi Has Ever Played

The iconic actor has played some, er, intriguing characters during his career.

There's more to Steve Buscemi than meets the eye, and we're not talking about the famous Buscemi eyes generator that stole the attention of the Internet a while back.

Buscemi grew up in a low-income family in New York and had dreams of becoming an actor. At the age of 21, he began to pay his way through the Lee Strasberg Institute acting school with three jobs and money he had received after being hit by a city bus.

Not only did his dreams come true, but he surpassed them. With over a hundred movies under his belt, he has also directed films and episodes for several popular television shows, including "The Sopranos."

The 57-year-old actor is also known for his "unique look," which often lands him some interesting roles.

We've put together a slideshow featuring five Buscemi characters you may have forgotten, but will love to remember.

Thank you, Buscemi. Thank you.
