With text messages and Snapchats replacing the typical love note, it's nice to see some couples still look to other media to remind their partners of how much they are loved.

When Imgur user Molly Murphy was struggling with depression, her new husband Tim knew just what to do.

"Today when I came home from a trip to [San Francisco], I flopped onto my bed in tears. I looked to my left, and saw these words painted all across my mirror," she wrote on the photo sharing site.

Molly was referring to a list her husband wrote counting a few of the reasons he loves her.

"I think he wanted me to remember how much he loves me. Because he knows how quickly I forget. He knows I struggle to see good in the world, and especially the good in myself. But here it is. A testament and gesture of his love. Damn, I needed it today..." Molly went on to write in the post.

In an earlier version of the Imgur post, Molly had written that she knew she was difficult to deal with, occasionally raising her voice at her husband and locking herself in the bathroom while sobbing, The Daily Mail reports.

After receiving a mix of compliments and criticisms on Imgur, Tim revealed on Facebook that he never expected anyone to see the note and was surprised it went viral.

I scribbled some compliments on a mirror never expecting anyone to see them, not even Molly MurphyNow it's gone viral?...

But the couple is taking the good with the bad, and Molly is quick to note she's glad to have the support of her loving husband through these tough times. While she knows mental illness is not cured by nice notes written on mirrors, the knowledge that she's loved and supported serves as a reminder that things can get better.
