The number one rule of Elf on the Shelf is no touching!

A New Jersey girl panicked when she accidentally knocked over her Elf on the Shelf. And she did what many kids are taught to do in an emergency — she called 911.

The number one rule of the Elf on the Shelf is not to touch the little trickster. So, when seven-year-old Isabella knocked one of her two elves over, she was so worried that she had destroyed the Christmas magic that she called for emergency back up.
