Penis Necklaces Take Centre Stage At Vivienne Westwood's Fall 2016 Menswear Show

At least, in necklace form.

Vivienne Westwood isn't one to shy away from making a statement, and her latest men's runway show is proof.

On Sunday, the British designer showcased her men's fall 2016 collection in Milan, which featured metallics, platform heels, loud prints and — wait for it — penis necklaces.

The 3D phallic accessory was worn by a few of the models walking the catwalk, some donning silver versions and other donning gold.

According to Vogue Runway, the name of the collection was "Be Specific." But what "specifically" could Westwood be trying to convey with these penis pendants?

As Mic puts it, "While the male models wore the ultimate signal for masculinity around their necks, their clothing freely rejected gender norms, with flowing dresses, shiny blouses and makeup favored over structured 'menswear' clothes."

Makes sense.

This isn't the first time penises been incorporated into fashion, however. Last year, Rick Owens sent real, visible penises down the runway (which led to the "Dick Owens" nicknaming of his show), while Tom Ford put a $790 18K gold "penis pendant necklace" for sale on his website back in 2014.

Penises, so hot right now (apparently).
