Dog Makes Wearing Braces Look Unbelievably Cute

Anyone who's worn braces knows it's hard to feel cute while sporting a mouth full of metal. But an adorable dog named Wesley is proving us all wrong.

Due to his seriously crooked teeth, the six-month-old golden retriever is sporting braces to correct his tooth alignment. According to the Harborfront Hospital for Animals, Wesley needed the dental work because he couldn't fully close his mouth, putting him at risk of other health concerns.

Unlike many teens who unhappily sport dental hardware, Wesley seems perfectly happy with his braces in the smiling photo above.

Also unlike teens, Wesley only needs to wear his orthodontia for a few weeks... so maybe that's why he's grinning.
