Justin Trudeau And Barack Obama Turn To Mush When A Baby's Around

Prepare to melt.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and U.S. President Barack Obama have more in common than just their political leadership. Both are known for their love of babies.

On Thursday, the two leaders adorably gushed over an infant upon their arrival at the White House.

While greeting onlookers, one mom handed her baby over to President Obama, who was all smiles while holding the little one. And once Trudeau noticed the infant, he couldn’t even handle the cuteness.

A video of the meeting was posted to Twitter, where users quickly melted over it.

Others hilariously noted that the little one couldn’t care less about being the centre of Trudeau and Obama’s attention. “The baby is like ‘I'm more interested in this cookie’ lol,” one person commented.

Trudeau, who is a father of three, is known for his love of babies. During his political campaign last year, he was often photographed holding adorable infants.

Similarly, dad-of-two Obama has been known for his love of children. Just last month, the hashtag #ObamaAndKids blew up on Twitter and revealed some hilarious and inspirational photos of the President with children.

Currently, Trudeau is in Washington, D.C., with his wife Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau and their three kids. This marks Trudeau’s first prime ministerial visit to the United States. Additionally, on Thursday evening, the prime minister is expected to attend the first state dinner for a Canadian leader in 19 years.
